The Market at Midland's Merry Lights

In partnership with the City of Midland, the Midland Downtown Park Conservancy's Centennial Park will host the 4th annual Market at Midland's Merry Lights on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a shopping market, food trucks, live performances, pictures with Santa, and the annual Christmas tree lighting! The event will end at 8:30 p.m.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at The Market at Midland's Merry Lights at Centennial Park. We will have 34 tent spaces available, up to 25 street vendors, and up to 15 food trucks, with an estimated attendance of 10,000! The event provides an excellent opportunity for market vendors to showcase their businesses and products to the community. If you'd like to become a vendor at the event, please read the information below and complete the application.

  • Deadline: Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2026.
  • Vendor Types:
    • Food Trucks will be located on Colorado St., Texas Ave., and Loraine St. and must be self-contained and detached from a vehicle.
    • Park Vendors will be located inside the park on the North and South Promenades. Each space will include a 10'x10' tent with access to an electrical outlet. *Note: Electricity will not be available until after the tree lighting ceremony.
    • Street Vendors will be located on Colorado St., Texas Ave., and Loraine St. and must provide all items necessary for set-up (tent, power, etc.). Vendor spaces are limited to 10' x 10'. Requests to sell from trailers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may incur an additional fee.
  • Approval: All vendor applications will be reviewed by the vendor committee. Applicants will be notified of their application status no later than October 14, 2026. Vendor space is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Approved vendors will receive additional event details, including booth assignments, vendor guidelines, and scheduled load-in and load-out times.
  • Cost:
    • Food Trucks $85
    • Park Vendors with electricity $60 (*Note: Electricity will not be available until after the tree lighting ceremony.)
    • Street Vendors $45
    • The non-refundable vendor fee is due by Friday, October 23, 2026, if approved.
  • Requirements: All vendors agree to follow the park rules and submit the required documentation for consideration. The following documents are required: business license, sales tax ID, and business liability insurance.
  • Food & Drinks: No food or drink tent vendors will be allowed unless selling under the Cottage Food Law. If you want to be a food truck at the event, please select that option in the application below.
  • Cottage Food Law Businesses: A Food Handlers Certificate and, if applicable, licensing from the Texas State Chemist's Office (for animal food/feed) are required.
  • Vendor Responsibilities: The vendor is responsible for bringing tables, chairs, lighting, Wi-Fi/hot spot, extension cords, merchandise, etc.
  • Prohibited Items: To help protect the park and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests, certain items are prohibited, including alcohol, glass containers, balloons, confetti, streamers, and other restricted materials.
