Special Use Permit

Information

Please review the items and activities that require a Permit or Rental to see if your activity needs a Special Use Permit. The time allotted for a Special Use Permit is 30 minutes to set up, no longer than 1 hour for the activity, and 30 minutes to tear down. Please note that some activities may not qualify for a Special Use Permit. Other options may be available, such as an Event Rental.
Items and Activities that Require a Permit or Rental

Consumption of alcohol

Operating a motor vehicle

Performances or commercial activity

Functions involving groups of 40 or more

Tents or other structures

Affixing anything to park property

Selling or promoting food, drinks, merchandise, or services

Use of amplified/electronic sound devices

Using any park area for special use
(proposal, gender reveal, press conference, etc.)

Commercial photography that will restrict any
area of the park, or will use equipment more
extensive than a single tripod.



To request a Special Use Permit, please review the General Park Rules, then fill out the Special Use Permit Application below. Submission of this application does not guarantee permit approval. Applicants must allow sufficient time for the park to process requests. Applicants will be notified of the status of the application and the necessary steps to secure a final permit if approved. Permit may incur additional charges.
