In partnership with the City of Midland, the Midland Downtown Park Conservancy's Centennial Park will host the 3rd annual Market at Midland's Merry Lights on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a shopping market, food trucks, live performances, pictures with Santa, and the annual Christmas tree lighting! The event will end at 8:30 p.m.

The Market at Midland's Merry Lights at Centennial Park. We will have 34 tent spaces available, up to 20 street vendors, and up to 15 food trucks, with an estimated attendance of 6,000! The event provides an excellent opportunity for market vendors to showcase their businesses and products to the community. If you'd like to become a vendor at the event, please read the information below and complete the application.
- Deadline: Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2025.
- Vendor Types:
- Food Trucks will be located on Texas Ave. and must be self-contained and detached from a vehicle.
- Park Vendors will be located inside the park on the North and South Promenades. Each space will include a 10'x10' tent with access to an electrical outlet. *Note: Electricity will not be available until after the tree is lit, approximately 6:20 p.m.
- Street Vendors will be located on Wall St. and must provide all items necessary for set-up (tent, power, etc.). The space size is limited to 10'x10'.
- Approval: The vendor committee will review all applications. All vendor spaces are limited, and filling out the application does not guarantee a spot. Upon approval, you will receive information about your vendor location, booth number, rules, and the load-in and load-out times.
- Cost:
- Food Trucks $75
- Park Vendors with electricity $55 (*Note: Electricity will not be available until after the tree is lit, approximately 6:20 p.m.)
- Street Vendors $40
- The non-refundable vendor fee is due by Friday, October 24, 2025, if approved.
- Requirements: All vendors agree to follow the park rules and submit the required documentation for consideration. The following documents are required: business license, sales tax ID, and business liability insurance.
- Food & Drinks: No food or drink tent vendors will be allowed unless selling under the Cottage Food Law. If you want to be a food truck at the event, please select that option in the application below.
- Cottage Food Law Businesses: A food handlers certificate and, if applicable, licensing from the Texas State Chemist Office (animal food/feed) is required.
- Vendor Responsibilities: The vendor is responsible for bringing tables, chairs, lighting, Wi-Fi/hot spot, extension cords, merchandise, etc.
- Prohibited Items: A few items include selling alcohol, glass containers, balloons, confetti, streamers, etc. For a complete list of prohibited items, click here for the rules.
